The Pre-Nursery and Nursery classes act as a transition between home and school; hence we ensure that the children enjoy their time in school
In the Pre- school focus is on language development and social behaviour. Children, who are now mostly from nuclear families, are taught to get along with others through various group activities. Formal instruction starts from Preparations, but the pace is slow, so that the foundation is strong. While academics are the most important part of our curriculum, the mission of our school has been and will always be to provide a well-rounded educational experience that will prepare students to pursue confidently the journey of their lives.
Junior School is where the tender and agile little angels filled with energy are sent by their parents to get the right path for their life and future. We believe that the future direction of a child starts forming at the very beginning itself. We provide each student a chance to discover his/her own strengths and learn within a caring, stimulating and supportive environment. The school seeks to deliver an experience that has at its heart our mission of education as the strongest force to respect people and culture for peace, understanding and a sustainable future. The Junior School pledges to meet the needs of individual child, nurture his/her unique learning style and help him/her acquire skills and knowledge to enjoy a lifetime of discovery and learning. The kindergarten classes are geared towards children at the start of 1st April of the school year as per the age criterion.
The practice of learning by doing it is introduced at the very early stage of the learning. We believe that the practical implication of education is the most important factor for a student to understand life. We would make him/her able to answer “Why am I learning this?” The learner-centered environment at school acts as a great teacher. It informs and engages the viewer. Classroom interiors have aesthetic displays of project work and are interspersed with arrays of interesting objects collected by the children and learning material. There are clearly designated spaces for large and small-group activities.
A challenging curriculum, extensive community service, a well- developed leadership program and a variety of co-curricular activities are all hallmarks of the kind of education we offer. We would like each and every student to grow into a thinking individual, capable of taking responsibility for the choices and decisions he/she makes as that would determine the quality of life he/she would lead in future.
